Station Break/Forward Into The Past is a 45 RPM single (Columbia Records, 1969, #4-45052). Produced by James William Guercio, it was distributed as a radio station/promo copy. It appeared in album form for the first time on Firesign’s 1976 anthology Forward Into the Past.

Love Is Strange

Mickey & Sylvia – Love Is Strange

Mickey & Sylvia (Mickey Baker and Sylvia Vanderpool), 78 rpm released in November 1956 on Groove Records (a subsidiary of RCA Victor). The composer “Ethel Smith” was Bo Diddley using his wife’s name. Baker later recorded a successful instrumental solo album, ‘The Wildest Guitar’. Vanderpool had a hit record in 1973 with “Pillow Talk” (as Sylvia Robinson), and was the founder of the Sugar Hill label.
